CDM-HVD 4000 Horizontal Vacuum Drying Oven is a device used to eliminate atmospheric moisture in the active parts of transformers.
In order for the transformer to work efficiently, it is important that the magnetic circuit has low losses. For this reason, the transformer core is dried.
Core drying aims to remove moisture from the transformer core. Moisture in the core can increase the resistance of the magnetic circuit and thus reduce the efficiency of the transformer. Also, high losses and heating of the magnetic circuit may occur due to the presence of moisture.
2500*2500*4000 mm fully automatic computer controlled vacuum core drying oven is used for vacuum drying of oil type transformer cores under pressure. The device is manufactured to work with the principle of oil pressurization and drying under vacuum with many years of experience.

During the drying process, the device eliminates moisture by heating while changing the pressure. Compared to conventional drying ovens, the device shortens the drying time by 40% through its technology and design. The device is suitable for drying oil type transformers at voltage levels of 110kV/35kV/11kV and below.
